I call him ‘Papa’, but sometimes I like to call him Mr. Big Head, because he’s so stubborn. Papa was actually the model child in the family, but his soul is much freer than Uncle Raihan who’s very strict.
Papa once told me that his spirit stayed young even at fifty because he’s always active and loves outdoor activities. I get a headache just watching his energy. But at least, he never bothers his kids with back pain complaints.
Grandpa was always strict with Papa, especially after Aunt Lia (Papa’s older sister) passed away. Maybe Grandpa just didn’t want his youngest son to cause trouble. That’s probably why Papa cut ties with the family, because he couldn’t stand their rules. I don’t really care about their family drama, so I don’t know much about it.
Even though Papa has already cut ties, Uncle Raihan still likes to interfere with our business. But we love our cousin, Rai, so we have to put up with it. Grandpa just stays silent all this time, and we are very glad (i also don’t like him..)
Oh, even though Papa is an annoying old man, I really care about him. After Mama abusive issue, Papa was the one who protected us and separated us from that Monster. Without him, I might be dead already.
So I’m not surprised he has the coolest job ever. Being a detective in the biggest police department in the city? Isn’t that awesome?
